We've got a meet in May probably in Dundee...that might be a bit far for you though mate.

Theres a Scottish VAG Megameet at Kaimes on the 6th June you might be interested in...

Checkout Scottish VAG meets and events for all the details...

I might be up for this aswell, would be good to have a meet closer to home

Theres guys who travel from Peterhead to the Scottish meets and have for a long time now.

So you can imagine it's hard to organise meets that are going to suit everyone. If you West

coast guys want to get meets organised for your area then that'd be a fooking great idea, ill

even turn up to some of them....

I'm not saying that the scottish meets are bad because they're far away, personally I dont mind travelling far. I just think it's a good idea to organise one in the west coast.

i also dont mind travelling a fair distance! been to a couple of svag meets held at exscape, in glasgow as there is quite a large carpark there! dunno if that would be an idea!

yeah sounds good, you might want to post it on Svag aswell to get a bit more notice but it's upto you.

Ayr might be pushing it a bit for us, nearly 4 hours each way

^Toby have you ever posted pictures of your Golf? looks nice I've got a white big bumper in pieces in the garage.

I'm going to this Scottish vag meet very close to me Saltcoats beach 13th June (see the Ayrshire section, can't give you link for some reason?)

With owning a mk2 Golf project I decided to make myself known and they seem friendly. Very close to me mind. I struggle financially to get to other meets towards Dundee and further afield.

The Glasgow crowd also have meets at Braehead, next one on the 26th May

I appreciate there can be a bit of ignorance/snobbery from other clubs when it comes to Polo's but I think it depends who you meet up with. I'll speak to anyone about cars. I'm thick skinned about my wee Polo.

I'm down in Ayr for Uni on and off. I live in Kilmaurs.

Cheers MacColl

Haven't posted any pics, but here's a public facebook album link:

It's in a very much usable condition, looks immaculate from a few footsteps away but is rough in places up close. Love it though, I knew the 16vs were supposed to be quite nippy but it pulls far harder than I imagined!
