That had awesome stance...but cant find the thread if anyone could be so kind to find it for the gent.

PS. if you lop a couple of coils out of the front springs, can get the front down a bit more like this:

Obviously it's a coupe but sus setup is the same, so will sit the same. However, you're sacrificing ride quality (trust me )

yeah i saw that bready a while a go and love it. just dnt know what its dropped by ,that be a good height as coventry roads are 1: fucked and 2: speed bumpy to fuck lol.i want it dropped ti a nice height that the comfort ent gonna be shocking,

it all depends on the wheels your gonna be running dude . mine was down 60 on the rear on steelies but i had to raise it 2 notches to get the clearance on my smoors

shoukdnt have a problem with clearance then..as there et38 iirc or a high et anyways

I have a set and I'm lowered 40/60. Couldn't drive with them on the front. The back I had to see to my arch lips a fair old bit to get them happy with uk roads.

the tryes are 175 70s. It's pretty uncomfy and skips on the road at that size so wouldn't want to go any smaller tbh.

Your tyres are too big, that's why they would have caused problems with the arches.

nah I'm gonna be running on smaller tyres.

i dont know if i will be doing my bready now as i might be getting a mk1 polo gls. found one in scrappy today.runs and low milage

Depends what the cars used for

For the daily I need the tyres are about right. I wouldn't trust them any smaller especially on the Yorkshire B roads I travel. It's not good how much the back end bounces around at 50! Slightly oversized profiles help soften the blow to my arse of the stiff philJ setup.

165 60s or 165 55s would do a job. Both my local tyre garages said they wouldn't fit 155s
