my 6n turbo project

Featured Replies

ok well i thought i would get my thread started seen as its about ready for the road I've been building it for about 3years just paying for it when i can its not going to be to everyones taste an I'm sure the looks will change as time goes on.

The car was down at tsr-performance getting all the engine work done it was a tt 225 bam engine an i rebuilt the whole engine an bored it out to a 1.9 an i am running a gt2871r turbo an ave also got a charge cooler fitted so its a little different than most other 6n 20vt.I'll get a full spec of the engine up when i find it i cant remember half of the stuff on it but its had alot of mods done an built to a high standard.

I've fitted a set of hi-spec 300mm brakes on the front an had a disc conversion on the rear.well i'll just post a few pics of it when it was at tsr in no paticular order as they are just all over my computer

nice work, what gearbox are you running and what are you doing about managment? guessing you're using standard managment and doing a tt dash swap, that's probably the easiest way!

Sick mate!

amazing work :)

back looks amazing with the arches but not a fan of the front bumper but each to their own :)

am not a great fan of it either mate that will be getting changed in the winter again proberly i just want it on the road for the summer then more work will be done in the winter time.

Loved the engine until i saw the body-kit!

Is it just me or is the front wheel arch just a little bit out of shape where it meets the bumper?

It's pretty smart actually, the rear arches look pretty well done tbf.

Although, the front end isn't to my taste. But, it's boy racer enough for people to have a go, and then he wipes your arse with it.

^ I dont like the look of tts but I know the engines are the tits!!! Haha

Looks great appart from front end IMO but if you like it it's cetlrtainly dfferent! LOVE the sides ofit! I reckon it would look amazing with normal front end but a 6n/6n2 hybrid bumper!

That's what i was gonna say. The back and sides are cool as fuck!

Get the front end close to standard and you're onto a winner. It's more sleeper that way.

Lets see these specs!

engine work looks spot on! lot of effort put in there and if you can get the power down it will be a beast, as you have already said cosmetically its not to everyones taste but it sure will shit all over alot of stuff when you put your foot down! makes a difference from the all show no go boy racers out there, good effort!

from the front i think it looks wrong, not so much the front it's self, just that the arches look silly from the kind of front on angle although they look good from the side(once the arch's are filled with wheel that will probably not look too bad at all tho). i don't think the front end looks bad for a modified mk4 polo, it's certainly no worse than the one's with a ton of plastic weld and filler making the front bumper look as featureless as a retards jaw.

the problem with stuff like this is we are only seeing it half done so it's a bit unfair judging it like that. good effort on the engine any way mate, even if it does turn out to look shit there won't be many people on here that could slate it knowing it would shit on their car's for fun

Fuck the polo, who really cares?

Lets see some Caddy sport pictures.

I quite like the look of it tbh. Makes a change from every other 6n with a valver bumper.

Any idea on power output? It looks like it's gonna torque steer all over the place ;)
