nicee , love the bumper so much . they are like rocking horse shit . i cant seem to find one any where , got like 200 quid waiting ready incase bumpers pop up for sale anywhere lol !

16v bumpers aren't rare mate. There are always several sets for sale on here and on ebay.

Nice car, looks like mine but in a different colour. I think if you are planning a VRT conversion, you are going to want to put bigger brakes on your future plans haha.

Yes, i want something considerably faster but i dont want to get rid of the polo.... so i came to that conclusion. gotta save myself some money and then i should be sorted. couple of months i recon, maybe longer.

and nope gone off the vr6 lump, I'm saving up to get myself a brand new 1.8 20v t with forged internals, race cams and a k04 turbo probably won't have enough till Xmas though.

My pc is down today so I will get the photos of the roof and what not up either later today or tomorrow

Right quick update for today;

wrapped my roof in matt black (myself)

started doing the mirrors in carbon fibre

fuel cap is done in carbon but forgot to take a picture

new number plates

two tone front badge

bump strips have gone

oh and there are quite a few stickers been put on and some little pikey stole my rear badge!

Okay little bit of progress... new 16v rear smoothing in process. pictures to follow

Get cheap valver bumper

buy crap from halfrauds

put mesh body filler and fibreglass on

sand flush

Paint when i get more funds :)

Also... adjust rake...

oh and ask lovely people that can use photoshop to make my car look like a dream...

Car looks good, could do with 5 mm more down at the front though

You used p38 on your bumper? A word of warning p38 doesnt flex and with the bumper being plastic it can crack after its painted i learnt the hard way when i smoothed my front bumper with fibreglass and p38. I now used 3m plastic finishing putty.
