My 9n3 Polo GTI T

Featured Replies

So its been 2 weeks now since i picked her up and thought it is about time i got pictures on here to show whats putting the smile on my face driving everyday. (pictures took by phone so apologies if don't meet peoples standards lol)

Shes bog standard still as i wanted so it's going to be "Built not Bought" usual plans for exterior - "Down and Out" coilovers, tints, wheels which i'm still hunting for the right ones and the odd bit and bob (What i have in my head the car will be a real head turner and cannot wait to just make it reality). The rest is under the bonnet starting with a stage 1 remap in the next few weeks and turbo back milltek exhaust following when money is there and i'll progressively do more and more until ultimately one day a stage 3 perhaps :paranoid:

White is stunning, i didn't really want a black one but couldn't say no to it expecially when my imagination got loose on her, climate controls excellent as for the heated seats i've not even had them on haha keep forgetting about them i'll need to try them out tomorow

So its going to be taking longer than i hoped for any real things to happen which my gti unfortunately but thanks to a friend who did not believe an air freshner was a happy new car present bought me a Forge recirculating splitter dump valve. So here it is... Pretty quiet which was expected but think i just need to change the tension on the spring which may make it slightly louder but still discreet.

Just a photo i had

Nice! :)

I nearly brought a Forge Recirc but then saw a Turbo Dynamics one for sale and I'm well impressed! Its not too loud and it flutters rather than dumps which i prefer as it not a chavvy lol the only thing is that its quite abit bigger than the Forge so rubs on the engine cover and the thermosat housing (i think thats what it is lol)

The flutter does sound a lot nicer if thats the right word, I only love dump valves because i see it as my engine having a crisis to put it nicely and i'm a big perv and want to here it  do induction kits make it considerably louder do you know??

I think so but not sure how much i think decat n that also makes it louder

Cheers fella, i thought it was going to be a pain but it was alright actually and didn't spend long on it the sandpaper was just breaking up trying to force it in all the nooks and crannys, i'm just hopeing if i sand it down again tomorrow they "blemish" on the face will dissappear which was caused by a bit of news paper landing onto it :x

Shame 'bout that, little things like that always happen to me!

I think it looks brill and am considering it, but I may keep the chrome if I get chrome rims...!

Good job, though!
