i have had a mk3 breadvan for about a year now.

and its completely stock, i want to mod it but I'm not really sure where to start, it needs more power, and about a 60mm lowering.

where did everyone on here learn about mechanics? do you just tinker and learn for yourselves or do you have training? if so was it a college course or similar?

I learnt by trying it, breaking it, paying to get it fixed then trying something else

Theres a lot of advice to be had on here in the tech sections just start with the easy stuff then move on when you're ready

I can honestly say I have only changed the oil and plugs on mine, anything else confuses me and gets mysteriously brokened
