Thanks mk2moo nice mk2 but looking for something abit more modern.

Lift pump in the tank with the fuel level float thing sometimes funks up. Mine did the same on my old mk2. Changed the lift pump (cheap) and that sorted that.

Sucks you selling now.

Your inbox is full dude :)

sold

to me :D haha decided to keep , sorry

been offerd so many cars , id like to swap.. BUT I'm in major debt. and its actually time to get out of it.

£1400 take it away.

exhaust was doen by powerflow last week , now has a nice tiny rasp sound to it.

so now your not keeping it?

nope neeeds to go.

last week had it up on the ramp to have the exhaust done by powerflow in stafford. Its had a new center section put in with new brackets etc.

while it was on teh ramp , i checked over all wheels bearings , bushings , rust under car , leaks , tires , and anything else it could possibly fail a MOT on.

Nothing and i mean nothing is out of place.

Oh apart from one thing , a wheels bearings on the drivers rear wheel had a tiny bit of play in it.. but i soon tightend it up so its all good now.

The only thing i could see it failing mot on was number plate lights.. but of course there only bulbs and i can replace them

what are the codes for the engine and box? someone once told me there are different codes on the g40 blocks or is that just someone talking daft to me!

oh and have you done any rebuild work on the engine or have any history of it? or have you just slotted it in and run it? I'm asking as I'm interested to know how standard it is besides what you have listed and what sort of life its had  you know what i mean

i think theres only one enginme code for g40's :s

This is a Py block (think thats right , I'm shit with codes lol)

and the box , cant rember the code , its just a GT box.

And engine work

sump gasket

water pump

clucth

thrust bearing

pressure plate bolts

all wiring has had a MASSIVE overhaul as i 1st had problems with it when i put it in, but its all been checked over and tapped up and its sound as a pound now

new oil senders

new HT leads and spark plugs

ermmm thats all i can think off the top of my head! oh and it had a service , new oil and filter etc.

The engine has no knocking sound or tapping sound BUT it is loud when inside the car but thats because of teh exhaust and the facft its stripped out haha.

But yeah its a overall good strong pulling engine , someone come to view it yesterday and was absolutley amazing at hwo quick it was.. he put his saxo up for sale straight away hoping when it sells this is still for sale.
