Hello everyone.

Basically iv been without a car for about 6 months waititng for my insurance payout to be sorted for it to get voided and me being done by an insrance company through no fault of mine. However in those months i saved up just in case and now I'm ready to buy a car.

Theres 2 choices:

At first i had a deal to take my mates ibiza cupra 51 plate off him, completely standard for 2300.

However a garage near me yday messed with my emotions and i saw this mk1 golf cab there, kind of like a two tone with greyish purple across the bottom and light grey across the top half, absolutley mint with 140 on the clock. 1400 for that but its beauty.

I want a car for the summer time really and then when i start uni i'll be selling up and buying a diesel, but i really dont knwo what to do now.

what would you do?

a cupra or a cab is a hard choice?

If you need to think about it then you need a slap Cupra all the way

although any lad that drive's a cabby is seens as a sausage jocky i'd still take the golf over the cupra, especially as you are only buying it for a summer car any way so you might as well get the one you can make the most out of when the sun comes out.

what happened with your insurance for it to get voided?

You have to get the cupra, my friend had one and they are awesome! He lowered it and got some nice wheels and that was all it needed!

I agree with mclovin. Considering you only want it for the summer, the golf is far more the summer car. Also saving nearly £1k which you could spend on the next car.

MK1 Golf,a cabriolet one at that,or an Octavia with Seat's 90's boy racer styling? For the summer? Its a tough one,i must admit..
