Engine taken from a VW Polo Mk4 1.4 8v I am breaking.

Engine was running when I drove the car home, had a friend mechanic have a quick look at it, he advised that there was a possible timing fault but believed the engine to be in working order ... however, I can't guarantee this.

Local Pick up only.

Are you leaving it all intact? Has it got a PAS pump on with all the piping? And also what timing is supposed to be wrong with it, cam or ignition?

Selling as seen mate, the PAS pump had been removed, most piping has been cut, electrical looms have been cut also. I have no idea what sort of timing problem it is I'm afraid :cry:

What's the engine code? If you can expand on the timing issue then I might be interested but at the moment it sounds too dodge, no offence.
