Well, I thought I'd stick a couple of photos of her on here.

She needs a bit of work on the old bodywork, but she runs like a dream and I've fallen in love with anything Polo now Any advice for a complete novice doing some spray painting on the rust treated areas would be brilliant!

Fitting my stereo on Wednesday, so I'll be driving round MK with the roof open and music coming out (I sure hope it doesn't rain aha)

Anyway, let me know what you think!

To be honest, i haven't thought much past repainting it aha.

Once the stereo has been fitted, I'll probably be looking (depending on the quality of the speakers already) to get a nice soundsystem in there.

But, at the moment I'm just going to get the extrerior look sorted. I like the idea of the painted VW logo, but being a complete beginner in anything like this, it's going to take me a while

Oh sorry, by painting it, I mean just making the rust treated areas the same colour as the rest of the body.

I've been told the colour I need to look for is Mars Red, so I'm hoping it will just look a little nicer than the primer it has on at the moment.
