I have a mrk1 1300 head polishedand ported, shrick cam, comp valve springs mated to a 1400cc block has been skimmed so have the pistons and re-drilled for max compession running on twin 40 down drafts not sure of bhp but not far of 100bhp at wheels. Wasn't cheap to build.

Gearbox is a 5 speed straight cut close ratio gear kit top speed 95-100mph with the g40 diff car flys with this gearbox.

I have a gemini lsd aswell but not fitted also with drenth drive flanges to fit mrk4 polo casing to match. This cost a small fortune thousands.

This is just a feeler at the moment as father hood is near so need to see if its worth breaking the car there will be lots more stuff if to come rollcage, bilstein inserts etc.

gimme some ideas what the offers are s I can maybe join in, would you sell the engine minus twins as you cant run em in road rallying - pics of the whole car would be class, just about t start preping a sqaure you see
