Good points: Just had a service by myself – Oil, Filter, Pollen filter, Fuel Filter, Plugs, G’Box oil - changed by garage annually, old stuff was “like new”. New wishbone bushes and ball joints - both sides. 4 New Toyo Proxy’s at Xmas time – done less than 3000 miles all good tread. Have receipts to prove this. New central locking pump. New rear brake callipers and brake fluid change. Coilovers – Firm but good handling. Just flew through MOT – NO advisories! 12 months tax just set me back £205.

Bad points: Alloys suffering from usual flaking – was about to pop on some G60 steels. Few tiny shopping trolly/car park dings/scuffs – hardly noticeable and the scuffs will polish out with effort. Passenger electric window can be temperamental from time to time but works and will shut. Coilovers probably need the fronts dropping a bit just to get it sitting perfect. Passenger seat has a tiny burn in it – it is not freyed or has ever got any worse, was like this when I purchased it, I don’t or no one has ever smoked in my car.

i just did about 200 to half a tank it is quite good roughly about 30 mpg ride quality is better than the bmw i had before feels really smooth price wise they go for £1750 and where its a face lift model it has better bumpers and interior it owes me just over £2500 mate so its up to you

a little off topic but i saw your wanting to part ex for a g40! I've just sold my polo gti to buy a g40 and its the best move I've made yet with my cars :-)

Yeah cant wait to get behind the wheel of one, it would be a second car as a project tho
