yeh it is when the cars clean n polished, should have my wheel adaptors maybe next week

got some g40 vented n groved discs today n some vwll calipers n carriers

my custom made wheel adaptors turned up today cant wait to get em on been waitting a while for them now.

the wheel adaptors dont fit perfect so need a little more work on them n little anoyed also as the allycats do stick out quite far so I'm looking for maybe some 5.5j ford wheels or i duno yet.

Also changed my engine plans again .iv got an 1.6 aee to go in hopefully make a start soon on getting old engine out just gota find a gear box

hay cam haven't been able to do anything to the old girl yet as not got the room on the drive way trying to sell my brothers mk3 polo then i can make a start. wheels arnt going on any more with the adaptors they stick out to far so I'm on the look out for wheels again lol.

Although to access the yard where the Polos are you would need to go on a Saturday. Pretty good prices there too. One Polo was a high spec CL. Woo. haha

always handy to know. just sold my brothers mk3 for him n now there is space on the drive way so il be taking the engine out of the old girl next week, been along time coming.

striped every thing now engine ready to come out

just quick up date engine is out ,just need to borrow an engine hoist now .

block painted just to smart'n it up a lil gearbox n clutch fitted, slimline starter motor arived today also so ready to fit.

update , aee now sitting in the engine bay nicely and picked up some fondmetal wheel too tho i tink il spray them same colour as i did the alleycats. il try to do more tomorrow.

fitted a new steering rack and conected drive shafts n gear linkages to.

alsogive that rocker cover a good polish will look loads better :)

well its all mainly plumbing in hoses n pipes now so maybe a week or 2 yet, iv got a polished rocker cover, was gona change them over once shes running.

fitted thermostat houseing n coil pack today and sprayed my wheels too think they look good.

new rad installed,oil filter and spark plugs. fuel pump is on the way so all i realy need is some fuel hose and new rad hose.

update fuel pump arrived today so i cant wire that in at the weekend ,connnected a few more wires tho i have some spare cant figure out what they are for and carb manifolds on ,awaiting crankcase breather from vw should be here at the weekend too.
