Paint Peeling Bumpers..

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Recently purchased a 6N 8v with 16V bumpers on.

Previous owner had them sprayed black to match the car - however then went and jet washed them... ripping a lot of the paint off and this has peeled back to the plastic.

Being a noob to the 'dub scene i was thinking of -

1. Covering with hostage tape until i can afford to reapray

2. Attack with a rattle can and pray the results are okay.

3. Same as above except cover the whole bumper in stickers to hide that i'm part of the Stevie Wonder school of spraying.

4. Paint with blackboard paint?

Any thoughts?

It looks that way to me - plenty of dragon green paint still there if you peel off the black!

Sand the whole bumper down - primer - spray - laquer - jobs a goodn!
