hey guys I've just done a quote on a insurance site and it says my car is a 1.4 rather than a 1.3. How is this possible?????????????????

You best check your V5C to make sure it has the correct engine on it. If it doesnt - contact the DVLA and get them to sort it out.

Otherwise all insurance companies will look at what the DVLA says is a 1.4 when in reality its a 1.3.

did the mk4 come with a 1.3 then? i thought it was 1.0L and 1.4 ...

check your logbook mate :)

1350cc or more = 1.4

6N's did come with a 1.3 spi engine also not many around but a complete waste of time. These are usually the very early 95' 96' models

As above - check with the DVLA asap what they have on record as this can void your insurance

I had a early '95 6n witha 1.3 engine - so so so thirsty on fuel!
