i think that i need a new gearbox for my 6n 1.4 16v and i was wondering if a 6n2 16v gearbox would work as i can find lots of these on ebay cheaper?

if not what other gearboxes could i use or would it be best to change like for like?

Mate if its from and aub engine code measure it with your old box and ino the skoda aub engines gearbox has a bigger bell housing.
