I love this car mate, Possibly my favorite gt! the red and black work so well the balance is spot on! I'm hoping to get a gt for a side project I hope I can make it look this decent!

absolutely loving the look of this mate, very tastey spec to go with it aswell. i would hope to have mine up to that standard at some point. the only thing i would do to this is just carry the stripe on to the front of the wing

big thumbs up from me

I did have matey, but it just didnt look right, was the same on my old gt, just my prefference really

and your car looks to be pretty immaculate from the pics I've seen of it, I'm sure its as clean if not cleaner than mine as it stands now!

theres more to come mate, it "will" be better! as soon as i get the wheels sitting in the arches at the rear ill be happy.

after that a nice respray, and the removal and smoothing of a few things (aerial, rear wiper hole, front wiper hole etc) and after that i think I'm done!

Just a touch lower at the front and it's perfect 8-)

Yoof

Wish it could go lower, but if you look at the front on picture, you can see that the lower anti roll bar and the 4 branch are less than an inch from the floor alread and scrapes on cats eyes!

the back on the other hand, that needs dropping!

You can go lower :-)

 That's the inner arch - ground clearance, car used to sit on the box on my old driveway...

How the hell have you managed that lol, the underneath of mine bows down so that the exhaust hits the floor before the sills!

Cheers guys, just bought these for the back end too :) :

Coilovers arrived today so will be fitting them tonight,

will update with pictures and how they compare to the philJ shocks and springs tonight or tomorrow! x

Well Got them fitted the other week and got them sitting at just about the right height now.

The rides alot stiffer on the rear as i expected but there is still alot of travel from the unloaded ride height and a little bit of weight in the back, so I'm gunna take out the helper springs and see how it is then.

Just need them for the front now ;)

Looking cooooool.

I wish i could lower the front :( snapped the lower antiroll bar on a speed bump because the engines less than an inch from the floor, so pretty much undriveable if the front went lower as it'd be putting holes in the 4-branch :(

;) i know the feeling mate, i managed to pick up a healthy flatspot on my manifold. are you on a 60mm kit on the front?

Grim that they never made those pimpy wheels in a 14 as it does help so much running a wheel that little bit bigger.

Ah well. Still looks cool. Just lower at the back than the front.

Yea dude its the 60mm kit up front

and i know, might have to raise the back a little to save my tyres from death by arches untill i get them rolled properly :)

Same front kit as when rich had it?? I remember we put the 80 kit on mine and when we took it off the jack it sunk down a little lower than Rich's and it really pissed him off :-) I've not hit the ground yet with anything and i am on 14" wheels with 175 50 on. Does it still have that lower brace bar on?? That thing just loved tearing up the tarmac.

Yea same kit rich had dude. and the lower brace was on it till last week where i snapped it on a speed bump!, gunna re weld it though and refit as it saves my sump and manifold from hitting the floor instead :)

Ha ha ha. I knew it wouldn't last that long. These bloody old cars eh :-)
