yer - just the engine running to deal with now - all else is virtually done. the interior is looking soooo good:-)

dont speak to him mate - haven't spoken to him since he did what he did at yours and tommys party back in december.

right - the shocks are only half the story to air ride as most of you know, the next part of the build focus's on the boot build.

i started off with a tank, 2compressors, 2 mnaifold valves and pipes and a water trap.

all of this is not easy to get in a boot neatly so heres my attempt!

started off cutting out a circle from 6mm thick mdf

marked out where bits are going to live (how messy is that photo lol)

cut a hole out of the centre for the tank to sit in.

marked out more holes and put a couple of mounting blocks underneath

So here is the first mock up

and the boot space i have decided it will live in

so a quick fit reveals it will sit like this

a bit of carpet and some wire tidying ended up like this

i colour coded the tank

a then fitted all the wires and the parts were taped up

the pipes above will be bent to the finished shape after the floor goes in.

tank was 50, the compressors were about the same mate and the valves were 85each.

yer the porkers are 15x7 and 15x8

thanks for the comments guys, been a bit late getting these pics up but I'm working on so much stuff at the minute- had to take my engine to pieces to fit a new breather pod and trim the block coz the drive shaft fouled....eeek

heres what I've been up to anyway - made a frame to raise the boot up to clear the compressors.

also want to hide a few things so i am making a box around where the battery lives aswell.

i had already started on a similar idea before the airride so some of my wood is recycled - so dont bitch about the wood lol

and the kona photo you wanted daveyboywonder - I'm building a bike from the same age of my car so i have picked a lovely 1993 Kona Cindercone - going to put some new juicy bits on it...kinda like updating it like i have done the polo. no pics yet as this isnt a priority check the kona site out lol.
