I'm quite confused over insurance companies and their quotes for different cars... its like insurance on my old polo 1.4 8v about 50 bhp lol with 2 years ncb is £1100 per year cheapest however a vauxhall vectra 54 plate 3.0l V6 CDTI is only £1300 per year... all same details how th hell do they work this out???

They reach deep inside their rear and pull random numbers out and throw them at you

they must do coz a 16v polo with 100bhp is the same price to insure as a v6 3.0l vectra :\

If thats the case - buy a v6 3l vectra I would if I could :)
