Okay, i've always wanted to do this but after coming to a set of traffic lights and a chav pulls up in his saxo with a body kit bigger than ikea and then revs his engine and pulls away...

I have just a 1.0 litre and his was probably like 1.2? but anyway he 'done' me.

Just the thought of having a Turbo Technics conversion on my car (or any other shed) and just doing all these chavs and stuff, whilst my car looking like it is.

This also reminds me of the time i was at Castle Combe and there was a white Corsa van with an orange light on the roof, but with a MASSIVE intercooler on the front :p You'd have sooo much fun.

and for the moped lovers, i always wanted a 172cc Aerox, and just do anything at the lights :p.

People really know how to piss me off, driving RIGHT up my ass in 30's....... oh my god, EVERYTIME i'm in a 30, the car behind me is right up behind me. My speedo must be out :p

Second gear pull-offs are fun in my Polo. Its all about keeping the slip to the clutch instead of the front wheels. By the time i have enough launch to hit third after a couple of seconds,its straight to 80mph and an automatic glimpse in the rear view mirror. Cos they're always in it.

This gets boring.

Its only great when tossers try to shut the door on you on dual carriageways,sitting in the right hand lane so you have to brake or hit the lorry in front. But in mine,its fourth at 60mph and they can just try to hold the door shut as i climb to 100mph in no time,and pull out in front of their penis extension.

Again,it fills a maturity gap until you mature. Every time you're hating,everytime you wish you had more power,realise you're just sinking to their level. Let them go and carry on enjoying your Polo for what it is. It'll save petrol for guarantee,if nothing else.

LOL at mikey , Aswell as the first response , Allways one int there, wastes his time putting something like that, why go on the thread i the first place? , yeah , cant wait to build a sleeper. Doubt my 2f's gonna have enough power when its done to be any where near a sleeper. Gonna be buying an ABD , corssing it with a GT's 3F and bike carbing it. Then drop that in the polo, should be good fun.

how about 150bhp in a stock mk1 boy am I going to have fun, obvs will upgrade the brakes and the suspension but will look stock as you like :)

hate it when people driving close behind in a 30 zone expecting you to speed up!

would also love a quick car only for when chavs in rovers etc try overtaking me...

Taxi right up behind up behind me earlier, i tapped the ol' brakes after a while, he overtook me in a 30, i sped up hoping he wouldnt overtake (should've dropped it down) he then sat infront of me doing like 15/20 ._.

i hate people who tailgate me i get it all the time i think its cos my cars low and loud and they expect it to be a missile when its only a 1.6 and a slow 1.6 at that, the most fun i get is in second gear but dont really rag it through the other gears ever unless i'm joining the motor way...and to go off topic a little bit, is it just my area or do people not understand how to join a motorway, i've got stuck behind to many wankers joining at 40mph

this was one reason i used to love my old mk2 golf 16v, it wasn't a sleeper but i think because it was an old car and most of the time looked hanging people just assumed there expensive, newer and supposedly quick car could do it

i have a great way of dealing with tailgaters when i'm in the jetta, just stick it in 5th gear, foot to the floor and let it over fuel to fuck while under load. it's amazing how people suddenly stop being in such a rush when they can't see where they are going. it's even more satisfiying when it's some poser in an Audi TT convertible

^^ That gives me an idea. Straying to the side of the road so you kick up dust and stones should do the trick,too.

Tailgating is annoying but its addictive for the person doing it,as they're drawn to the anxiety it creates. Telling them politely is better,as they're jumped up on the edge of their seat with adrenaline if they're a proper tailgater. So a dab of the brakes or throttle and its gonna be war..

A flash of the fog can work,but otherwise i do think some gutter-running may be worth trying for those of us who dont run diesel soot.

the way i deal with tail gaiters is slow down to 25 and pretend to be reaching for something while swerving slightly not recommended if the fuzz are about but fun all the same or if your car could do with a few repairs wait till the last second with an obstacle and brake they plow into your back end hey presto new paint job as for the chavs simple way to deal with them just wind down your window and let them know there driving a shed and the fact it has a bigger engine will most certainly lead them straight into trouble be it a break down because they ragged it or straight into the law because they are speeding and for those in french cars just reiterate what there driving is french and wont last much longer

yes this why i want a g40, I've had the polo gti and I've enjoyed it and I've got bored of it in a year. I've put many cars to shame i.e fezza st, shitsos etc etc.

i want a g40 pretty bad and you i suppose there easyer to make faster than the gti and

the look on pepoles face when you suprise them! I've had it the gti too but in the g40 it would be better, especially as I'm going to put a straw hat and a umberealla in the back window

My mate did the Malossi 172 conversion on his Gilera Runner lol, topped out at 90 but the front would lift at 30 if you whipped the throttle back.. much fun..

Ahhh mannn you in the JOC? My Jettas off the road for a few months for rust removal, And for a little 1.6 she goes. Planning on dropping a 16v 1.8 or 2.0 in her. My Polo is my little about town pimp daddy car. Cheap as chips but hardy as hell little whip.

i enjoy showing up tdi audis and beemers ect but the best to wind up are chavs in their VTRs
