Gonna look lovely.

id say get the bumpers sprayed, lower it 80mm all round, slightly rolled arches, them wheels and a new exhaust!

really tidy example. Wil look spot on, on the alleycats, althugh the rear arches will have some fun..

With the plates, it's really not worth running the german font. Police are clamping down on it hard, just the other weekend my friend had his car impounded because of it. Dubmeister.com do legal pressed english font. I really recommend them!

Cheers boyo's yeah most probs need my arches rolling at the least getting a philj 80/60 spring and shock kit ordered sometime this month when more dollor comes my way :) and the exaughst will have too wait a bit longer as well apprentice wages are shite :(

And yeah wish i didn't risk it now but cba with splashing out more cash if police stop me i'll blag my way out and i have the orginals in the boot ;)

Got potential, seen some really nice mk2 Golfs in that colour.

All I'm going to say is you've got a challenge ahead of you to get those to sit nice under those rear arches.

The breadvan rear arch can't really be rolled like other arches because of it's shape. However with skills it can be pulled off. I don't like to see a bready project that ends up being hacked up and then not finished, It's one of my pet hates, I'll add an IMO to that.

I've got 5.5J tarantula wheels on mine with 185/60 tyres and I had to cut a good 7mm off the inner lip.I finished off the cut with etch primer, paint and then some waxoil underseal. I suspect your going to have to do more persuading than that which could alter the lines of the car but as I say it can be done.

myyyyy old caaaaaaaaaaaats ! haha ! cant wait to see it bud, have you recieved them yet? golfs a winner

matt

nice clean little breadvan

Yeah this is veryyy true, i bought some Audi 80 wheels which came with 185/60's and they barely fitted on, had to drop them to 165's and they're now nicely on :)

good luck though!!

Alex

Edit: forgot to say, lovely colour, loooking niceee :)

I's looking like a monster truck though ! and can't lower it with that much poke non rolled arches and non stretched tyres :(

Guna have too book it into body shop i think more money that i don't have :(

  • Author

P.s. it's all guna ber worth it when them wheels sit nice f*cking loving the alley cats :D

I would love to tell you the alleycats would work without majour arch work , No rolling and flaring will cure it unfortinatly , Belive me i tried all the options then went down the custom route .

  • Author

Yeah i knew there would be some body work other than rolling just how much :( how much did it cost it you?

MONSTER TRUCK!

£700 for my arches mate i considerd that cheap bearing in mind the work . You could always go down the Berg cup route . alot of people do run the same wheels as the poke is reduced with rolling and laring just still present.

Cheers pal think i'll have too get it done or sell up and get some thinner higher offset wheels :( i'll probs give it a DIY roll and see how much room i have too play with :(

those wheels look fucking lush on that, how much you pay for them?

to say this will be interesting shall be an understatement

would those alleycat rims fit on a 6n polo?

they look fit callum ! ! glad you like them, shame about the poke with you having flat arches etc.. Are bolt on arches not avaliable or something similar like classic mini ones ?

Hummm.... had a good long think today and i still can't decide if it's worth the time, effort and money too sort the arches out or sell up and go for something else :doubt: If i did go ahead and i pulled it off it will look the the dogs but i'm still unsure. Need a bit of help too decide! I am swaying towards selling up though...

And I don't think soo Matt not for the back any way someone said i could get berg ones but can't find anything.

If I do sell up any ideas on allternatives?

Cheeeeeeers for the comments any way!
