Max or Sean, any ideas what break you are/were pushing out? what else has been done engine wise?

thanks

your carbs are spitting out fuel

yeah i need to adjust the fuel pressure regulator..as I'm not running a return..

i should think about the 110 mark as its just been completely rebuild then carbs and 4 branch..but as it has a 1.0 flywheel and 1.4abd golf box it shifts..:)

i bet it packs a fair bit of torque!! should get it RR'd or take me out for a spin in it ;)

if these indeed are my old carbs, they make a great difference.....sadly i was booked on the rolling road the day after i crashed =(

this carbs are in a mk2 right?or in a mk4?

mk1 jetta i believe

yeah I'm pretty sure there your old carbs...black 6n you had rite??

indeed mk1 jetta

torqueee :-D ...i did take it for a quick spin. ....first gear and second gear are pointless from standstill  even on the roll pulling away slowly wen i popped it into second it spun up on the passenger wheel 8-)

Got an aee in my mk2 polo running bike carbs. Highly recommend a cam aswell thou. Alot of people told me not to do it as the engine has a torquey nature. Fitted a piper ultimate road cam and advanced it 1 degrees. What a difference in the torque and power after 4000rpm. Wid the standard cam i found it ran out of steam at 4000rpm. Fitting a AEM guage on the weekend get my carbs set up perfect will report back to you :p

^^^^ dude, please do report back, get it RR'd and let us know what sort of power your putting down :)

oh max
