Bootlid lock won't open

Featured Replies

Now I've just bought this polo so I'm not 100% sure the barrel is right for the key (every other lock is fine inc petrol cap) but I put the key in and it just won't turn, is there anything I can do?

/edit it's a 6n

I'll pick some up and spray the whole thing and see what happens, personally I reckon it's not the right lock as it doesn't move a single mm but we shall see!

mine first did, but now mine doesnt move at all :/

but the thing is, theres no way i can now open the boot to even change the lock?! ahaha

mine did this so i folded the back seats down removed the cover and opened it that way

they tend to sieze, get it apart, it's more than likely your key is correct.

when i bought mine i had two keys one for the boot and one for everything else so it might be worth asking the guy you bought it off if he had another key or summit
