H&R 60/40 mk3 cup kit - ready to fit

Featured Replies

Hey all,

I have for sale a complete mk3 polo H&R cup kit.

The kit has only seen circa 1000 miles of use on a GT

Included in addition to the kit, are all the relevant suspension items which are advisable to change when upgrading your springs and shocks on the MK3. These include (all genuine vw) bumpstops, washers, bushes, top mounts, nuts and bolts. These items were replaced at a cost of more than £100 at the time of fitting.

In addition to this the front comes fully assembled on a GT strut, so the kit is ready to fit. Struts show signs of general wear and tear and surface rust but nothing unexpected from a 15 year old car.

The kit itself is in excellent condition, i have checked the dampers for any leaks which there are none front or back and all springs show no signs of wear or fractures.

The kit currently retails new for roughly £400, so i have placed this item at £300 i think this is a fair price given that the kit has seen minimal use and has over £100 of extras included.

This is the price i would like, however i am open to offers so try me.

Postage/delivery:

Here's where the fun starts. This package is particularly heavy(mainly due to the struts) so postage will be £20 or more i feel. I will get the package weighed and get a definite quote before the price is finalised. Alternatively collection from Aberdeen/ Scotland is available. I will also be making a trip down to see some uni friends in Edinburgh on the 16th of June so can drop off anywhere between Aberdeen - Edinburgh or the buyer can meet me along the way. I'm open to suggestions.

Payment

Payment by paypal is preferred, alternatively bank transfer.
