my polo just bin doin little bits to it thro the years.. i had it resprayd white and had a caddy tail gate wedded in and smoothed off in the boot, i went out got a coupe S engine with ova size vavles aqn high lift cam an ABD bottem end but it didnt last that long cuz i just passed my test driven like a idiot engine went bang conrod went thro the frount of the block and was verry gutted at the time. but evryone goes thro that ....

then i came up with an idea to run gt management on the 16v AFH block then i thought bout bike carbs but evry1 seam to be doin that sort of thing so just thought fuck it get on an get it alloy welded had that done drop the engine in it compleetly standerd and got all the starter motor for it an the mount mild off etc anyway boldted it all up and started her up and she fired up was shocked then i done cople of tweeks to it an she runs lovely. now wen i lift the bonnet up there no room lol :thumbsup:

Have you had the gt inlet fitted to the 16v head? How does it time up? Any changes to the management?

What does it go like compared to a gt?

had the inlet alloy welded to 16v inlet an goes like stink much faster an much tourqe an no timeing change running on same management ....

did you use the 16v exhaust manafold down pipes etc or custom make 1 ?

also timeing belt tenshioner ? it still the water pump ?

Good effort, best way is to get the MIG welder out.

So its a 1.4 16v on mk3 Digifant GT injection?

I've dreamt about this sort of thing. Bay looks stock!

yerp i was thinking bout carbs but i had a thrort to use the GT injection works nice an smooth ...cheers matt

That setup looks real good.

Good effort - be interesting to see what the fuelling's like, probably more power in it with a remap.

Get some more info up. Looks very tidy!!

I'm finking of getin a remap but haven't got a clue were anyone does it lol then she going on the rolling road so it should bring out sum power :badgrin:

Is it just running a totally standard GT map then? I bet more power will come with some decent remapping. Be interesting to see how much power it makes.

yerp its totally standerd ...just finding some one to do my remap an ill let u know what she brings out ....

cheers mate yer i was thinking of doin that but i allredy new were there a ( valver engine ) so was just easy to take that option
