isn't that a bit backwards? simulators are far too anal imo, if i want to feel what it's really like to drive a car i pick up my keys and go out lol. if sim's are your thing then fair enough but i just find them boring as hell, give me NFSU (it's been a while since i played driving games tbh lol) over grand turismo any day of the week.

i've got GT5 pro log or what ever it's called and found it as shit as all the other sims i've played, only got it because it was free with my ps3.

i just prefer to play some thing that's meant to be fun rather than some thing that's meant to feel real.

Graphics aint wow but its all about the game physics which makes it such a big hit, game has been turned in to racing, drift events, cops and robbers servers drag racing

hmmm tbh mate it just looks like all the other racing game's but you can't really get a gist of what a games like till you play it i suppose. i'll have to see if any of my mates have got it so i can have a bash on it and see.

the problem with me is i like playing racing games but i'm not very good at them lol. which is why i prefer arcade games because they are a lot more forgiving so if you make a fair few mistakes it still don't take away from your enjoyment of the game, if that makes sense?

Yea mate i see what you mean, iv always been into racing games ever since i was small but i deffo recomend it, you can download the Demo for free with a couple cars and one track unlocked.

i like a game that challenges me! and nfs does not do that for me any fool can play the game gets boring after a few races! and a good simulator style game like GT5 are great but not with the standard controls you need a steering wheel like a Logitech G25 witch i have and i have to say the best money i have ever spent check the the video's on youtube.

What i want is a game with VW's which can be modified like on forza motorsport and NFS where u can modify the cars buy they only ever have golfs

I to wish some aspect of what you side could come into play, Scirocco was done for VW to advertise and for Victor to show off lol, since it being built and imported to the game for testing they found out that the tyre physics would need to be re-built to give the likeness of the real car. So now there looking to upgrade the whole game with new tyre physics and then proberly release a new version with it in.

You can illegally import cars but they are still based on what ever car is chosen so your only replacing the shell, but you can skin all cars and you can produce some pretty nice one, here's what i have done for [TC]City-Driving Server.

I re-created the BMW styling to great affect (based on FXO shell)

I found forza to control like GT by the videos and reviews that iv seen but i dont like xbox and i wont by it just for one game, but i will see if any of my mates have it you never know i could love it, but it aint as customisable as LFS as game.

as i have been a playstation boi for like ever.... gt was allways where it has been at..

but after buying an xbox just for forza it was worth every penny.

i played gt5 prolouge again after playing forza and the cars feel so diffrent I'm leaning so much towards forza but will ahve to see what gt5 brings when its out.

on gt the tyre squeeking on every corner when you are not even tanning it is a bit ott

I will buy a PS3 for GT5, I understand Forza is excellent and would even consider an xbox for many games but I've played the Grand Turismo Games since they came out on the PS1. Have fond memories of playing the original Jap version.

I don't even have a flat screen telly yet (broke status) but would aim to sort that out purchase a PS3, GT5 and probably the Logitech Driving Force GT which is quite a bit cheaper than the G25 but is still designed for GT5.

can any one else get on this?
