MK4 8V Peterborough --- THE END

Featured Replies

Wheels will look good - something a little different but still BBS! I would still go for 45s though!

I think that 165/45/15 is too much stretch.

Most people on tyrestretch.com are using 165/50/15 on this size of rims.

I'm confused now which one go for.

I suppose if you're stretching that's different, hadn't thought of that! Stick with your plans!

Thanks for comments guys.

I have decide to go for 165/50 R15 Bridgestone Potenza RE 040 73V KZ BSW

I think they look much better stretched because I don't like the lip on Nankags when they are stretched.

I should have my BBS back during the weekend and I'm ordering new set of tyres next week :)

HEEEELP

Hi guys,

I have one problem here with my BBS:(

The guy who sold them to me here on polo club advertised that they are 4x100.

I have found out to day that they don't fit my car because they are 4x108!!!

He is telling me that he had them on his 6N Nreg without adapters or re-drilled hubs????

I'm now after custom adapters but don't now what size (how wide)

The spec of the rims 15x7J ET35 and I want 165/50/15 tyres on them.

Please can you guys help me what is the best size of adapters?

I don't want massive poke...I'm after nice decent look.

THANKS

Bollocks! That's shady' I'd say get adaptors as thin as you can get them (15/20mm??) with the 165/50 they might be ok! Post a thread in th ewheels and tyre section tho to be sure! Or get them redrilled! Would save slot

Of messing with spacers etc! And the centres will make sure there tidy!!!!

Gutted for you mate :(

I cannot believe how shiny this thing is! also, that fully sucks about the wheels mate :( get some adapters and all will be well, at worst, get a machine shop to take some of the inside of the wheel to stop crazy poke, at least this way you can get it sitting puuurrrrfect :) every cloud has a silver lining and all that...

Thanks guys,

I have decided to re-drill it and not buying adapters...too much money.

Next week i'm sending them to my friends workshop to sort it out.

They should be on the car by the end of the week :)

Wanna see them on man! Are you up for a show in April? :)

When exactly are you coming back from holiday?

If you're sticking with the yellow & green theme, I reckon some Yellow Mk3 Golf GTI Colour Concept would look sweet.

lövely wheels! :-D
