@VDub.... was there need to QUOTE ALL THE PICTURES!

anyway looking good mate!

Now were talking, the car looks so much better with the BBS rims and I am really liking the yellow trim bits on the car! Looking good, can't wait to see more progress :D

Looks good now man :D

What plans do you have now?

  • Author

thanks guys for the comments :)

Next plans are to sort out the 16V fog lights. They are already fitted with the 16V loom, new switch installed but they are still not working. I have checked the FAQ how to make them working but i'm confused because my car have the 53 relay already and they are still not working :(

If anyone can advise let me know.

Front upper strut brace needs to be fitted and the 6N2 lover center console.

If i have enough funds I want to sort out the rust on the rear arches and scratches around the car so it looks nice.

I have already good guy for this job, done my bumpers and with perfect result.

I also want to install sub in to boot and change the speakers for something better, do the roof lining (actually thinking what graphic and color combination I would like to put on it.)

I need to slow down now because my girlfriend hates me for spending all my free time in the garage :DDD hehe and I want also enjoy the lovely weather outside.

Hope I'll see you soon somewhere on the show guys.

anyone any suggestion why the fogs are still not working?

Try replacing the relay buddy, scrapyard for cheap.

Love the bumpers! Looks relatively like mine :)

I bought a relay for the fogs..then realised i didn't need to as mine was a 99' polo xD

So if you fancy buying it off me let me know :)

also could the loom be wired in wrong?

Looking good though buddy! 5 door = heh

Thanks guys for comments will try to check if the relay is OK because the loom should be fine and the lights are working.

My car has been tested yesterday on proper trip 120 miles (2hours driving) from Peterborough to Alton Towers.

I was surprised how good was the ride on 20mm adapters and stratched tyres, no problem at all also in 90mil/ph

On the way back the test was much harder...4people in the car :D

Before I lowered the car I have tested it jumping on the back how it holds another 2 people in the car.

I was surprised again no problems at all just sometimes when the road was too bumpy I could hear the rear arches on the tyres but no damage on them.

I don't have bump stops on my rear suspension so the ride is still soft and comfy.

I'm happy about the result 240miles with no issues at all.

You do have the bump stops, just not the stiff ones ;)

the car still needs sort out the rust on the rear arches and some scratches and dents around the car but this is still daily car.

Need to save some money now for respray during the summer when I go for holiday.

I'm happy how it looks/drives and will continue to make it look better.

Rather slowly and with better quality ;)

Thanks mate,

I'm happy that I have something different on the car, rare and quality brand.

Yes there is still small gap but I can't go lover because of the bump stops :(( around the town and the coils are soft.

I want have low car but I like soft ride :) so they need to stay as they are.

If I compare my car with rzezin's car there is only 2cm difference.

I will try to get the rear arches rolled later this summer hope it will look much better.

Bear in mind mine's on 16's mate and there is more than 2cm difference ;) If you roll the arches and wound it down even more, it will definately look better!

Hi dub guys :)

Again after couple of weeks or days or whatever new update is here.

Just one small and that I have fitted the 6N2 lover center console.

It was quite hard job, measuring cutting again and again.

It's not perfect because it's hard to measure how much you need to cut but I'm still happy with the result.

Will upload pics later today to discus.

Here you go guys first quick shots of 6N2 lover center console fitted
