It's not hard to fit it but it's hard to cut the exact shape...I have spent like 4hours to do it.

You need to cut it and test it, cut it and test it again and again...until you have the exact shape.

You need to take care not to cut to much :) or you ...

I have cut little more from the back but this is not an issue because it sits OK under the dash and holds it in the place.

There are only two bolts which holds it in it's place and because of this you need to cut it properly or the back will stick up instead of sitting nicely on the carpet.

Ugly rainy day outside...what to do?

I have received the new center console form Jake Ellis (thanks buddy)(my was damaged and not holding in place) and wrapped it in carbon fiber.

I was surprised that Jake send me the console with the shelf in the middle (I guess this one is in cars with no ele. windows) and I started thinking how to use it??? because I was already looking for lupo shelf to fit in to the 6N2 console

Because I have fitted the lover center console from 6N2 the other day why not use it?

I have replaced the ele. widows switches with the shelf and fitted the switches in to the fake buttons on the lover 6N2 center console.

What I can say after everything has been fitted is "IT LOOKS PERFECT" even my lady likes it :)

I have also received some Chrome door handles from ebay to changed the fade black look of the interior.

NEXT BIG UPDATE: rear arches and sills are going to be repaired and resprayed next month because the rust is growing on them :)

I can't wait to have it done because it's pissing me off that the rest of the car looks good and when you check the arches they look like shit :(

I hope I can finish most of the changes before Polo show :)

I haven't time to sort out the fogs but I want to do it this week.

Thanks anyway for the advice. I will use the cable from the old wiring from my lights.

It's not hard to do it bud.

It takes time to measure it properly and cut, measure and cut...again and again until you have the exact shape.

It takes time to do it.

Smart that, looks very clean inside and out! I've just bought a dragon green 3 door 8v so i'll take some inspiration from this!

This is the cheap one from Thailand...I wanted first try it how it will look and if this is good I'll buy the 3M later.

The quality is not bad but it's not sticky enough and you can have problems around the corners.

I'm looking for real m3 carbon on ebay for good price but it's hard to fine real one...and not expensive

The interior looks much better now, not so dull but I just don't like the fact that window switches doesn't sit flash with the rest of the buttons - as you said 'sporty look' doesn't suit the rest of the car in my opinion.

Yes I did it by my self.

It was quite hard with the cheap carbon...it's not sticky enough and it's really hard to do the corners but I have managed it somehow :)

I need to order some M3 carbon and check the difference.

With the cheap carbon you need to be aware that it can go wrong when it's too hot in the car.

I'm looking to get some for my 8v and just wondering how to go about wiring them up and getting them to work as they are 16v fogs.
