Got some g40 calipers with carriers good condition, they come with stainless hoses plain discs wich are used but only minor wear on them aswell as pagid fast road pads wich are used but almost new lots and lots of meat on them. I'm after £90 posted £60 for collection

    I've also got some 256mm black diamond dimpled and grooved discs partly used £10 for the pair of them.

would these work on a standard mk2? or do they require a different master cylinder? same with the discs, will the fit without mega modification. very interested, and only in taunton

The g40 brakes will fit a mk 2 yes , you won't need a new master cylinder I dnt think only need a bigger one with the 256 mk2 golf setup check from somone who knows about mk2 polos first though as I'm not sure but I know the brakes will fit and the hoses will fit give me a shout if your intrested.

As for the 256 mm setup new caliper and carriers and master cylinder are required

Ok just an update, I've sold the g40 brake setup I'm now just selling the 256mm discs and I've also got a set of half worn green stuff pads that somone can have for a 5er plus postage to fit the girling 54 caliper if your intrested pm me. Pics to follow of the pads
