its possible to turbo pretty much any car but I'm sure youd just be better off doing a conversion wich = MEGA BUCKS

maybe a car thats faster to begine with like a startlet or summit???? i wanted to turbo my 6n2gti but then i was told do a conversion then i saw the price and thought fuck that

now I've just bought a g40.............i cream my pants everytime i drive it.............i would rather kick my mrs out of bed and have the g40 in there with me lol, thats how much i love the car :lol:

Because I can't afford insurance on a g40 or to buy a descent one that's why I wanted to know how much to turbo one :)

i've thought about this before.

as my car is a state as it is i'm not to fussed about whether i blow the engine up.

so rather than spending big bucks, i would get hold of a small turbo, something similar to a punto gt,

get a custom mani made somewhere, run the turbo at low boost, so as to not ruin the compression ratio,

and just see how it runs. pikey tech ftw haha!

you aint pikeytech, just a pikey

search on the forum this question gets asked at least once a week

If you can't afford insurance on an standard charged g40 then I doubt you will able to on a modified polo, I would have thought that the insurance company would take more kindly to a factory fitted charger than an aftermarket one.

They wouldn't know it was modded,

sorry to say this, but idiot

i think you should turbo your brain first, you might have half an ounce of common sense then.

you'll get reamed if your pulled over and found to be driving a car with un-declared mods like that.

Welcome to the real world mate I can guarantee 80 percent of the mods on this forum aren't declared it's my choice and it's not going to bother me if Internet gangsters like you insult me on a forum

erm, actually most of the people on here are enthusiasts, who actually care about thier cars, and the fact that they are fully insured, so that mr po wont clamp and crush it.

the rest are a bunch of fucking kids, who spit their dummy out when someone tells them the truth.

anyway tell me where you live, ill come drive my 200 quid shed into your car, and financially cripple you for life

and if you actually had any common sense, and you are going to run your car undeclared, you wouldnt post it up on a public forum.

Exactly, you need to change alot of stuff, you can't just bolt a turbo on...

Your going to need to sort of the fuelling and compression for starters. You may even need to change the internals...

Not as easy or as cheap as some people think.

Well and truely pawned.

Saf laying down the law.

If you can't afford to insure it, you can't afford the mods

ahh ok I'm a 'fucking kid' with no common sense, this coming from the person smoking drugs in his profile picture on an internet forum, common sense? any 'fucking kid' with common sense knows that drugs and drug users are the scum of this world yet you think its cool so you post a picture of yourself with a big spliff and a lighter. But who wouldnt think this is cool that wastes 8 thousand posts of your precious time to try and get some attention of 'fucking kids' on the internet. and no lads i haven't been merked or burned I'm not going to be insulted in any way by a kid who needs a life even more then he needs a haircut.

tell you what mate ill drive around with my coilovers undeclared untill i have some no claims, and you carry on spending your hard earned money on drugs and we will leave it at that,

now show me that your man enough to turn your head at a topic on an internet forum, thankyouplease.

i never said i was i was asking how easy it is to see if i could do it.

id go to jail for smoking pot, i believe its our god given right to toke something thats sprouted out the from the ground, I've told coppers this when I've been stopped for it. its my hard earned money and ill allowed to waste it, how i want, when i want.

on the other hand, id rather not have my car crushed to save a few pennies from my insurance premium, and have the potential of an insurer failing to pay out in the event of a claim where i may bump into someone and cause them injury.

my aunts a copper in walsall so if i find your registration details i might drop her a message ;)
