Any of you out there know the best way to go abouts lowering my polo breadvan

I've been looking at coil overs but there soooooooo exspensive :(

any 1 help thanks :)

Shocks n springs are a little cheaper, or just lowering springs

2nd hand coilys are out there, aslong as you keep an eye out for the condition of them you can get a bargain dude.

coilovers for the polo don't need to be expensive, if you are handy with a spanner and welder you can fit mk1 golf coilovers for next to nothing. there are a lot more of them around second hand compared to polo coilovers as well

would it be much work for a machanic to fit thse mk1 golf coilovers cheers :)

depends how good he is at welding tbh, besides it would probably cost a fair bit as there is some custom fabrication involved which is time consuming.

what do u mean by the custom fabrication thanks ?

the steering arms need's carefully removing from your polo struts, they will probably need the hole in the steering arm opened up slightly (they did on kiz's and mine) and then they will need welding into the correct position. if your competent with a grinder and a welder and have a good understanding of fabricating stuff then it's a piece of piss, if not then it's going to be difficult tbh.

would be alota work for me then as I'm useless wid a welder haha think ill get sum springs n then save for some coilovers :)
