Ok I really wanted to share what is probally the best new company around! Up until now If you wanted a bonnet bra then autobra would sort you out, Now I only dealt with them once but They took ages to get my bra in stock and it cost £65

Well when searching for a new bra for the 6N2 I cam accross this new company on ebay called Cobra bra, I think they are actually based in Turkey!! anyway although they had 100% feedback there were only 3 feedbacks! :S But at the price of £45 you cant argue so I took the plunge and ordered one yesterday at about 10.30am

Today at 5pm my bra arrived, free delivery (seemingly from europe) and as far as I can see the bra is no different to autobras offering.

not slagging off autobra here at all they are a very professional and well respected company but we are in a credit crunch so if your after a bonet bra (for any car this is) check them out!!

haha each to their own, I do alot of miles and my car is shiney and white, we have bad roads here so It literally is to protect the bonnet rather than as a silly fashion thing!

Yea I understand that aspect. Personally I don't care about stone chips and would rather spend a couple of quid on some paint to fix them when they appear! Devon roads are probs worse

Also - if you care about preserving the paint on your bonnet, having a bonnet bra that is quite noticable (compared to a small chip) kind of contradicts this right??

I see you point, Its defiantly more noticeable than a chip!! But personally I like the way they look anyway, just wanted to share a real bargain with other users because I can imagine most people will be put off my the lack of feedback on the company (its all positive, its just a new company)

Definatly refreshing to find a genuine bargain out there!

But seriously I like bonnet bras, you say any car, including Mk2 Polo, I searched on ebay and might just be being blind but wondering if youve seen them listed?

first spotted one on a very tidy beema and it looked the sex

but every time i spotted one afterwards on various cars they looked shite??

do mk3 ones fit on a mk2???

I don't like work for these people or anything I was just well pleased with the service so I just thought I'd let people know, didn't know where to post it so posted it twice. Right so your protecting your bonnet when most chips actually hit the bumper.

Its a flawed design and just followed for scene points unless you go for the whole front bra but then you cant keep it on all the time due to heat/water attacking underneth and bubbling paint work.

Just my view on it.

haha, they're not blind people, it's vic reeves and bob mortimer. It was a sketch from the smell of reeves & mortimer in the mid '90s. :)

search for "reeves and mortimer bras" on youtube and/or just buy the Smell of Reeves and Mortimer DVD as it is one of the best things that ever happened to tv.

great and your entitled to your view on it, lots of people dont use or like bonnet bras, however there are lots that do, that was the sole purpose of the post, the tell people about a good place to get them, not to hear everyones individual reasons why they dont like them.

god its like the new scene thing is to hate on bonnet bras!

i put mine on then take it off when i get there its easier to repaint a bumper than a bonnet as its so flat

i like it i paid for it and to me its usefull i also ordered mine from the bloke at all types very very good fit and finish
