I'm going to put on bbs 15"rims with stretched tyres (ebay item number: 290415118978)

i want to lower the car as far as i can go, I'm going to use hottuning coilovers as I'm on a bit of a budget also i want to add spacers (basically I'm going for euro look) lol

what i want to know is, with the rims shown, what tyres will be stretched, but not silly stretched, a safe stretch lol..

how low can i go and what mm spacers will i need front and rear, all help welcome, thanks :)

There is a faq section, it tends to be useful!

That should get you started for strech.

Put the wheels on and then see what you need. Do your car as you see fit :-D

thanks, i will take a look at this now, i think i need an alarm 1st lol..... BLOODY THEIVES JUST TRIED TO SCREWDRIVER BEHIND MY LOCK ON THE HANDLE :(

I dont want to put a downer on things but ...... i lowered my 6n2 the other week and now its knocking its tits off!! The anti roll bar is rubbing on the body.

I didnt no this when i lowered it but apparantly this happens a lot and people just remove their anti roll bar (so i've been told). I'm stuck atm and dont no how to cure it, so if you do lower it on coilovers then please let me no how you get on and if yours rubs.

ok will do, my brother lowered his golf mk4 on coilovers and he had the same problem, he found out that some company makes an anti roll bar to suit them when lowered, ill try and find out who and where he got it from and let you know :)

Yeah cheers. My mate had to get a different anti roll bar for his golf. They rub on the drive shafts though not the body.

I been looking at different anti roll bars but i dont think they will cure my problem as there still the same shape, thickness etc. I decided I'm going to take off the anti roll bar and see how it goes. Theres no other way lol :? I been told it wont make much difference in handling as the coilovers are a pretty solid ride and theres not much body roll anyway! ;)

hi, he said he got them from awsomegti.com or co.uk cant remember exactly, check them out and let me know how you get on :)

ordered my 15s with stretched tyres, and also ordered my hottuning coilies, going to drop it 120mm if possible, where does the roll bar knock
