I've put a cordoba glx carpet in mine which is a dark grey. take front and rear seats out, just bottom of rears, then the plastic strips running along the sills, just clip them off, centre console needs to come out which are small torque screws, then the 2 pieces of plastic in drivers footwell and the bonnet pull. there are annoying plastic clips right under dash, and all thats left then is a metal bracket behind the cantre console going from the dash onto the tunnel. hoover and clean new carpet out of car too, a lot easier!

i did my carpet on friday :) i did the same basicly although i didnt use another car carpet :) i got some offcut carpet for free from carpet right  budget FTW! and it came out good I'm getting valver seats soon so i got some red :) heres a piccy just need to finish the back off (shaping) using heavy weights to get the right kinda shape wasnt too hard simply i got my old carpet out drew around the gearstick and handbrake lever cut it out put it in then cut it to size :) jobs a gudden

Its quite easy remove the ash tray there will be 1 screw there quite easy to acess, then remove the gear gaitor and there are two bolts i think they are about 11mm anyway remove them and your ready to pull it off just got to manuver it around the seats, gearstick and handbrake lever :) quite easy stuff then just need to remove the side strips and you'll have a nicely fitted carpet in no time :) really simple interiors on these

Hi there, i started taking out today but I've hit a snag, how do i take out the footrest ? the screw on the floor has rusted out :? so how would i take that off. Also where the boot popper is there is a bolt on the floor underneath the accelerator pedal, how do i take that off? only got those two things to take out and thats it.

cheers

Jon

Well mine wasnt rusted but i would think WD40 would do the job it takes ages to get that bolt off though as for the bonnet catch its just two screws mate :) sorry been away doing GCSE's lol
