as title says really.I'm gonna give my car a good clean today and was wondering what people use after T-cut to give it that extra redshine :)

Not a big t-cut fan myself as it never seems to last. G3 Compound and a wax is far better.

i always wax after a tcut/polish colour magic works well tho :)

^^ G3 for metallic colours and G4 for the solid colours

I wouldnt use t cut it seriously damages your paintwork, I use autoglym super resin polish twice, then 2 coats of wax to protect it

T-cut metallic (not normal T-cut) on either solid or metallic paint,then a proper wax. From a tin,not a bottle.

That always worked for me when i had too much time in my life,though mine gets nothing but a shampoo every few months..

A cutting compund is meant to damage the paint work, in a sense. But i would use G3, and then polish/wax after. Cutting your paint back leaves miscroscopic dimples which will fill with dirt. Polish prevents this

Exactly, glad someone mentioned that. If you have old, poor paint that needs renovating, then you more than likely need to start with a cutting compound to get rid of the dirty/uv damaged layers of paint/lacquer, and then polish, and then wax.

Very true, but I think people tend to over use T cut, a friend of mine used it once every week before waxing and his paintwork is dull now from all the laquer and paint removed.

I really wouldn't use T-Cut. If you have some imperfections I find AG SRP is good and then wax/sealent. You should only polish the car every 6-8 weeks depending on conditions. If I'm washing the car I'll use AG Aqua Wax just to keep the protection topped up.
