Good points:

I bought the car back in Febuary, the engine is 1.8 8v Carb'd with a DMTL Weber conversion the head has been rebuilt about a year and a half ago (here's the blurb from Andy's advert "head gasket done about a 1000 miles ago (caused by split coolant hose) never even gets to mid temp. head was skimmed and pressure tested, new stem seals done too." lowered 50mm on shocks & springs, Petronix 8mm lead's.

Since owning the car I have fitted a SWG 300mm Steering wheel, a genuine VW Motorsport leather gear knob (rare these days!) new backbox, new dizzy cap, rotor arm, water pump, power steering pump bush (not fitted), fuel filter, mk3 heater matrix & new feed / return pipe's (to remove the bypass valve), brand new genuine chrome rear badge, JOM 15mm front lowering spring caps (not fitted), thermostat, front engine mount, gear linkages, bushes & rods, gearstick housing, genuine VAG door speaker pods, Alpine headunit (playing up ATM, wont open but I'll include anyway as it may be a simple fix ), 12" Infinity sub, 5.25" Components in the from & 5.25" 2ways in the rear (OEM fitment so no dodgy holes, lol)

Ther is a folder full of history backing up prtty much everything done before me and what I ve done

Car is currently sat on RH Classics with Tornado Red centers and hand polished dish's

I'm sure theres much more but my mind has gone blank, lol

Bad points:

The tax is due at the end of the month and the MOT is due next month, I just dont have the time and money ATM as the other half is due to have a baby in the next couple of weeks

The alternator is a little winey but it charges fine and the gearbox needs oil (I have oil for this, just not the time to do it!) the car did have a rear end bump a few years ago and has since been mostly repaired, just needs rubbing back and fresh paint which I was planning on doing but I just haven't got the time & money to spend on the car ATM so I would rather it to go to somone that can finish off the little bit's and make it a mint Jetta

A couple of bits need doing for the MOT, the power steering rack bush was an advisory but I have a polybush to replace there is also a small 50 pence size bit of paint missing from the near side sill which needs painting but there is no rust on the sill itself, lastly the rear brake shoes and handbrake cables need replacing but again I have the parts for this. I'm not aware of anything else for the MOT.
