its the 2.0 16v model, sedichivalvole. once upon a time her husband got clocked doing 134mph in it :lol:

saw an absolutley minted black 3dr one here in southsea the other day, looked like it had rolled out the showroom. and yeah, including my old childminders one the 3rd I've ever seen in the metal

citroen bx's on the other hand, my dad had tonnes of them and they were all shit. but cheap to run and theres a vid on youtube of some pikey in ireland absolutely raping a GTI one down some country lanes!!

As far as car choices go I suppose my mk2 Golf GTI (project) comes under this criteria.

When(if) I can become qualified and start earning some sort of salary I aim to own a classic and probably have a something like the GTI as a daily.

Depending on affordability and fixability I would go for Porsches, Triumphs, Hillman imps, Air cooled dubs but admit this changes daily lol.

Initially something like a Porsche 924 might be an option. They are pretty much dubs anyway but I believe are very practical classics.

Something twin carbed has to be owned at some point.
