Hello guys looking for your help hear,

I have a sort of knocking noise coming from the front neareside wheel, it happens when i start from stationary and sometimes when

i turn the steering wheel. I've checked everything apart from CV joint. Coud it be this? it doesnt happen when I'm driving only when setting off and turn . bugging me now!! car is lowered and put a new wishbone on perhaps pulled CV joint out? the car is a 6n

any help, would help!!!

Yeah I've got exactlly the same problem with my 93 coupe I don't think its the cv as iv had it off (ooh er) and rebuilt it since the clicking

I get three clicks when I set off or turn right on the ns front if I accelerate slowly I get 1 maybe 2 clicks only when I've stopped

Checked the brakes and rear drums checked the inner and outer cv wheel bearings and put new strut top mounts on feels to me either

Like arb is loose which it isn't or a ball joint is dry/fecked get a bit of clunking on rough roads too

Anyone else had this and what fixed it?

exactly what I've got, had it all off today, wishbone, shock the lot. then made sure it was all tight.

havnt taken it out properly yet so ill keep you informed mate!!!

yeah did all that too mate seemed ok for a few hours of enthusiastic driving then started doing it again

onlything i can think is it may be a dry ball joint i had a new one on the n/s about 18 months ago and i think i snaged the boot when i had the drivshaft off either that or the track rod ends they were stiff too

let me know what you find itll probably be one those fix everything till it stops and ill never figure out wtf it was ha
