I’m 18 , on provisional paying £97 a month for a 1.4 1997 polo L

I have lowered it my self ,

I phoned them up asking if they can add the mod as i want to be driving round on a valid policy, they said they require an engineer’s report which is fairenough as I have done the work my self. Otherwise they’d want the recipts n stuff.

My question is.

What is an engineers report and what do they check

I know that its a report which will determine if its safe , safe to drive and acceptable to be used on the road.

I was just wondering if anyone knew what they will check. Because i will need to raise the car for it , and just to drive it normally so it will stay like that.

I was wondering if they will check anything else?

maybe ring your local garage or mot place and ask if they can give you a written note to say they're fitted correctly and fine for the application? and send quinn the tuv approval also?

I've been quoted £45 + VAT per hour

and it should last an hour apparently, If its dangerous then they fix it
