It’s been subject to two major restorations in this time and is currently fitted with a 1598cc Vauxhall C16SE engine which was purchased brand new from Vauxhall in 2007. It has a 5-speed Vauxhall gearbox, KAD brakes, a full roll cage and much much more. Thanks for the comments everyone, I've just been out in it tonight and I REALLY don't want to sell it, but needs must so it's got to go.

It is pretty quick, quick enough to have fun with but not so quick as to be totally unmanageable :)

I reckon it's about 110bhp, plenty of torque too :)

The C/X16XE on a set of ITB's will produce around 150-165bhp so yeah, that'd be pretty mental! Will drop straight in too

I saw this not long after it was built, a very very nice car with some serious kit on it! it so very very nearly made me stary with minis.
