If its engine code AMF then the 2002-2005 book will cover your engine as thats the same engine in the 9n (2002-2005) polo 1.4 tdi pd. Bodywork, fittings and the majority of the wiring will be different though I suspect.

The 6n2 2000-2002 manual has everything except your engine overhaul stuff- so body, brakes, electrics suspension etc, i'd recommend getting that one at least as a starting point, then either the 9n one or one for a Lupo since the TDi motor also came in that (if you fancy buying two books)

ok il get thr 2000 - 2002 to start with.

is my car a mk3 or mk4? i read on wiki its a mk3f but i dont trust wiki. and what does 6n2 stand for. has my car got a secret codename like that or sommit? lol :)

The first one is the one i've got.

Officially its a Mk3F but on here its a Mk5 , or 6n2 which is the chassis designation given by VW
