lol no. 2300 pounds..... i wrote off my car after one month when i passed. when i started driving again one month later i was quote 500 pounds and it was on a 1.2. i was about 19. just search moneysupermarket confused and gocompare. I'm sure you can get it cheaper. i think my m8 payed 1000 and this was fully comp and on a 1.6 honda. but he was about 20. age makes a difference.

I went with direct line when I passed they gave my the cheapest quote when I passed i save about 300-400 going with them but iv found now iv been driving for a year they are no longer the cheapest. Give direct line a try mate :-)

my brother is 17 just passed, he pays 3500 on a lupo (1.4?) cheapest around, prices are just stupid atm

I'm paying 2200 on a 1.4 6n2 and I'm 18. prices seem to have gone up now though

Agreed prices are nuts but thats because of the recession,we are slowly getting out but prices went up on many things and arent really coming down to quick!! i payed 1400 for my first car,i am now older and looked at getting the same car agai and my price was 2000 haha,crazy times but at least petty has dropped to under £1.20

and they wanted 5 n half grand on a 1992 polo coupe cl 1.3

its fukin bonkers !!!!

but mu mate can get insured on a corsa for 680 quid . rediculus

try ecar they were the cheapest for me when i passed still just over a grand tho :-)

i had a fiesta rs turbo as my first car when i was 17 and my insurance was only 2300 with adrian flux that was 6 years ago, someone drove into me wrote it off after 9 months lol....got paid out £600 for the car lol.....what a waste lol.
