that can be the case.. and i think sometimes its a bit chavvy but i havnt been to one in a few months.

polos like this are rapidly increasing my love of them, as i must admit at first any polo from mk4 onwards just looked nasty, but as i say, examples like this are slowly changing my view :)

Agreed, lol, that's why i've fucked the DNE meets off... no-one gave a fuck about anyone else who wasn't in their little group of friends and they all just stood around admiring their own cars...

Most of the interaction with fellow VW owners goes down at the unit now tbh

Either that or club GTI at whitley bay, that attracts older people who are generally much more knowledgeable and nicer about it too! No chavs, nicer atmosphere and some proper nice sorted cars!

Yeah its actually pretty scary that its a small allen key nut and bolt holding the seat in place!

the rears are just held in by clips on the hinges.

Wellllll I have a friend that does lots of custom spray and bodywork as a side project and we already have plans to smooth the front bumper rub strips next month

There's a few of us meet up there and work on VW's.

It's where lil micky does his bodywork.

The club GTI meet is a bit more grown up and down to earth and is held at the briar dene pub on the sea front on the last sunday of each month.
