hi, i got a streight through section for my 1.9sdi put on by powerflow, and i was wondering, would i get a nice sound if i got the silencers removed and put a sports back box on, basically a streight through system, or will it sound poo

hmm, diesels just sound nasty full stop tbh :) buttt, i did know someone who had a straight through system on a 1.9 dturbo 306, and he was pulled by the coppers and was ordered to fit a back box as it was too loud!

just a word of warning, although your results may differ...

it would sound loud, i've got a straight through system on my td and it's very loud and that has a turbo acting as a muffler on it.

i doubt it would sound much good tbh, mine only sounds good because it has the sound of the turbo coming through it, if it didn't have that it would just sound like an old tractor :lol:

lol, a tractor, so really its not worth spending to money, as they want 250 for the full system lol
