Oh No Insurance

Featured Replies

Well, my insurance renewal is up...

And it appears insurance companies are still trying to bum me dry... It has dropped £300 in a year with my 1 years no claim.

But then I add some Non Standard-Alloys, it jumps £400.

Then we come to the bigger one Non Standard Suspension, well, it just gets silly now. I think it jumped £2,000.

So basically, is there any companies anyone has used lately that are offering respectable deals? I don't mind paying the little bit extra. But none of these silly prices.

Or is it going to be another year of 4x4 ride height, if that's the case I'm off to buy a Suzuki Jimny!

Aviva gave me a surprisingly competitive price when i added modifications, although quinn direct have the most liberal approach to mods, saying that its only worth declaring"if it makes the car go faster"

Thanks guys.

I'll start ringing around on Monday since i'm free.

Any more suggestions keep 'em coming.

Some woman rang me up today asking if i wanted to take the quote they offered me last night. Erm, yes, of course I will pay £4,000. Silly insurance companies.

Theres an insurance company who are at 'http://www.4youngdrivers.co.uk/' if you don't like phone calls and stupid quotes don't use them. I used them for a quote, gave me about £3000 and in your details you have to leave 2 phone numbers, they rang me on both within 3 minutes of quoting.

brentacre.

need to be 19+ with 1 year driving to have a modified policy but their cheap :)
