Right time to fit the 007p recirc valve i bought back in february and my double DIN head unit from my old car.

Just have to get a holiday out of the way (££££) then the fun can realy start

I thought the one with round headlamps was a 9n, then this being a 9n2 and the latest one, which looks similar to a golf front, is a 9n3???

My gti's a 56 aswell and mine is the 9n3 i'm sure its from 06 > its 9n3... could be wrong might be earlier :S

i'm sure there's been this discussion before.

the 9n2 was actually a 9n saloon much like the 6k was with the 6n, but we didnt get it over here so we went straight to the 9n3.

the new one is indeed a 6r i believe.

Yeh the way I was led to believe is that 9n is round lights 9n2 was a saloon which uk didn't get and my shape is 9n3??? But wen looking for parts I found them called mk5 phase 2 or mk6 or 9n2 so god knows!

Plans so far are powder coating the wheels anthracite which is being done this week fitting my double din head unit 007p recirc valve is on and when I'm back off holiday in august coilovers and induction kit.

Got the wheels back from powder coat today and they're looking schweet! Only just found out they're made by Ronal aswell!

£170 at a place called WRC near preston

that was for acid dipping and powder coating

Hi mate. Yeh the power is good but as always its not enough so a remap is definatley on the cards soon. I had 2 1.2 Corsa C's before one petrol blue five door for 6 months and a black sxi which you can see on this forum http://www.corsa-c.co.uk/forum/showthread....&highlight=

Right finaly here we are, some pics of her with the coilovers on. Its amazing just how much arch gap there actualy was!

Got the rears set at fully down with the cups in and the fronts still have about an inch to go.

When show season comes she will be getting cups removed and wound down fully on the front but cant be that low for daily driving!

Right 2 parcels came today and yesturday containing a bottle of Autoglym super resin polish and Extra gloss protection so thats tomorrows job! Going to give her a full detail wash, clay, polish, seal. Will get some good pics up when its done.

Hi all. Not posted in a while so thought I’d give a quick update.

Finally got a K&N kit on her so that’s abit of peace of mind knowing the filter set up is made for the job, looks and fits alot neater too! Managed to get hold of a remove before flight tag from work (British aerospace) so got that hanging off the tow eye. Added afew more stickers and got some xenon bulbs of ebay, £10 for all front bulbs which was a bargain and come with 6 month guarantee!

The main thing is I’m having the front plate recess smoothed as we speak which will make the front end look alot meaner! Will get some pics up when I get it back.

please don't overdo the stickers though! they can ruin a car IMO, especially modern ones.

Cheers pal. I think I'm done with the stickers now, just got afew in the corner of the back window. Yeh it looks loads better when there isnt any arch gap!

Right. I got afew pics together and found afew to show my smooth front end. I'll get some good ones when the cars clean and with my proper camera.
