All I'm saying is I have been contacted by a photographer whose interested in doing a shoot on the car when it's finished.

He's done a few features for PVW and others I believe (one in the current PVW) so we'll have to see where it ends up :) :) :)

Seriously buzzin and boosted my motorvation to get it finished.

Sweet build mate! Just inspires me more to get saving and do my 6n :p lush though! well done, and good luck with the photographer ;)

Ye, forgot to resize them...but they do auto reduce once the page has loaded.

Get on with it? I've pretty much single handedly prepped a whole car for full repaint in 5 1/2 days haha.

DAY 7

right then, final day of prep work...i managed to rope in 2 blokes i work with to help me out on this.

i wanted it up on all fours but couldnt be arsed with blocks of wood...so out with the car lift :)

it wouldnt go under the car as it was so had to jack the back up to get it under.

sanded, scraped, butchered, etc. all the stonechip off so that they were all back to clean metal.

the sills were mint, no rot at all.

we straightened out the spine as theyd bent slightly through previous poor jacking ups.

As said to you at the poloshow, the only thing letting your car down was the rust on the arches....this is going to be epic when its finished and how cool is it that you get to do the work all yourself....look forward to lots of pics rob

what base coat you gona use pearl sliver ??? :ninja:

Why would I base it in silver first?

It's straight 2k gloss, this shit covers anything cause it's commercial based paint.

Plus if I need to base anything, I'll just use white wet on wet primer.
