  • Looks so nice!# Love the colour on those wheels.

  • i dont have any centres on them, there just steels. i didnt have chance to repaint them before i put them on. i sold my G60s for £200, bought these for £50 and then they ended up going on the car

I hope they try. No one can understand the amount of work it's taken so far. It's already had about 12hrs prep work and I'm not even half way there.

If they think there clever enough to try, I will smile and say good luck.

There on the to do list, but got more important things to buy yet.

People will try to copy but it will to no were near the level of work man ship take its take to get this bumper to this point never mind finish product you truly have to be in the trade to appreciate the skill it takes to do this work

Cheers chaps.

As Doyler pointed out, this isn't a 5min mod job to be done in the garden by an amateur. It genuinely is hard to do. And if someone else can do it, fair play to them.

Eric just a plain old soldering iron is all I use. I have used proper plastic welders before but have never got along with them. There's not alot I can't repair with a soldering iron haha.

That looks alot better than i though it would!!.

Excellent work man, Will look even sicker once painted and on the car!

Wait until tomorrows update. Got a shit load of filler work to do haha.

Will also be ordering a 6n2 GTI splitter next week for it ;)

Anyone got a mint set of 8v fogs and fog light grill?

So did 6hrs of filling and reshaping today.

This is it all ready for primer. I'll prime, block through and reprime to make sure it's spot on.

Taken 18hrs to get to this stage.

All flatted, using panel wipe to clean and check shape is right.

I like it alot

Sexy!

Is the top contour line perfectly straight?

I thought that too man, I'm sure it will be, probably just the picture or the fact it's varied shades from being flatted back.

Gonna look awesome! Well done so far mate

It's near as damn it, but when it's in various shades of filler its hard to tell. Even using black guide coat dust isn't always 100%.

When it's in primer I'll 320 it down and it'll straighten any bits out.

It won't see paint until its all there.

I hope for your sake Rob it is salvageable if it is a bit off straight as you have put sooooo many hours in.

It does look a little off but prove us wrong mate, higher in the middle in my opinion.

I think that but when I try focus on it, it fucks me up and I can't see it haha. I'm sure it'll be spot on
