6hrs of fabrication on the front seat rails and £200 to sort the rears.

It wasn't easy but it's nice to be the first to do something different and have genuine front and rears Alfa's.

what needs to be done to fit the rears? what fabrication was done to the fronts? i really wanna fit alfa seats i thought i could just weld runners to the fronts? wasnt sure on the backs i had oxford edition recaro s3 seats in before but where cream and didnt have rear seats

Seat rails had to be cut off and have Polo rails welded on...quite abi of work.

And the rears spent 2 weeks with a trimmer, he had to add all new foam to the Polo seats, add new leather, rework the seat backs to accommodate the seat releases. In total the seats owe me about £600...there are defo cheaper options.

The beesting that was on it originally gave shit radio reception and I love a bit of Chris Moyles in the morning on the way to work, so swapped it for a Yaris one that I pinched off a write off at work...it's been likened to an R/C car lol.

Opinion taken and noted Tobes...I love it, does make the inside of the car 10 times darker than when it was just black haha.

Temperature doesn't bother me and if they are about, just means I have to wash the car more often.

so today my car ended up naked and showing her front end.

i decided to modify and fit the splitter i got off a mate...the splitter off his old Caddy van.

so first things first...bumper off:

new Vs. old splitter:

test fitted...fooking miles out:

the tabs on the side were the wrong way so...before:

bent 90degrees so there the right way:

the amount of tabs i had to cut off to get it to sit in the splitter recess [please ignore my old boxers haha]

i got the middle sitting flush but the corners did this:

so i trimmed the corner tabs and V'd them to allow it to flex:

warmed the corners up and bent and bent and bent and clamped in place haha:

so once id screwed it place and added some 2 pack glue in some places it was on.

had plenty of excess on the sides =S

trimmed it down...still need to trim some more off but ill do that tomorrow:

ill finish it off tomorrow and get the bumper back on the car...keep an eye for updates.

Even though the bumpers look a like...there's a massive size difference.
